DeWitt, AR Testing - 2008

• Current Ignite label requires 15 GPA and lists several nozzles that may be used.
• Gallonage/carrier volume: 15 GPA
• Nozzle types: flat fan, air induction and others listed on label
• Nozzle pressure: Pressure needed to provide medium spray droplets
• Droplet size: medium size ~ 300 microns
• Observations from application trial:
• Flat-fan 11010 (60 psi, 15 GPA, M/C droplets) good control
• TurboDrop TDXL11004 (72psi, 10GPA, M droplets) slightly better control
• AI-04 (48 psi, 6 GPA, VC droplets) poor control
• Future Studies:
• Evaluate 2 or 3 volumes (10 and 15 GPA) set-up to provide Medium droplets (~300μvmd)
• Consider allowing 10 GPA on the label if set-up provides medium droplets
• Section 2EE allows 10 GPA in AR, TN, MS and LA.
